Over the past 8 years, we have shared with you our journey with Sparkes of Hope. I (Izzy) am now 19 years old and attending the University of Ottawa. Jane is 18 and has completed her first year at John Abbott College. We now fully comprehend how grateful we are to have been able, with no hesitation, to continue our education past elementary school. Last year, with the help of our incredible Sparkes of Hope supporters, our 3 Future Leader Scholarship recipients attended another year of high school. They have now become leaders in their own community. They inspire their younger siblings and friends to study hard and focus on school.
Sparkes of Hope’s goal is to award Rosemiline, Robenka and Miguerline with Future Leaders Scholarships for the 2021-2022 school year. But we need your help! Join us in providing these deserving students with the gift of secondary education.
Future Leader Scholarship : Awarded to a young Haitian girl from Youth Upliftment International School who has shown outstanding commitment to her studies, dedication to her community and is a strong leader and role model amongst her peers. ($1500.00)
